In honor of Women’s History Month, Robert Mann Gallery is pleased to present Celebrating Women’s History Month, an exhibition completely comprised of photographs by the female artists in our program.

Cig Harvey’s Hydrangea Pillow encapsulates the magic that Harvey’s work is consistently identified by. A welcoming white bedspread. slightly rumpled, appears to be softly lit from an unknown source. On top of the pillow, a sprinkling of hydrangea petals bring hints of intensity through color in an otherwise monotone print. Maroesjka Lavigne’s Blue Lagoon, Reykjavík, from her series shot in Iceland at the age of 21, is cinematic and nostalgic. Steam, coming from the lagoon, moves upward melting into the stark sky and snow capped mountains.
